Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer

Overview

We have a brand-new opportunity for a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer to join our team based in Bournemouth or Reading. In this role you will be responsible for supporting and delivering designs for a range of project types and sizes and working within a multidisciplinary team of engineers and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day technical delivery of electrical design services for multi‑disciplinary projects across a range of building sectors.
• Lead the development of initial strategic concepts for projects, ensuring solutions meet the brief and regulatory standards.
• Interact regularly with internal and external stakeholders; attend project meetings and translate the brief within the project team.
• Monitor fee expenditure, resources and work delivered in collaboration with the team leader.
• Mentor and support next‑generation professionals, including apprentices and graduates.
