Principal Pipeline Welding Engineer

Overview

JOB DESCRIPTION The Principal Welding Engineer is responsible for interpreting internal or external business issues and recommending best practices. They will be tasked with solving complex Welding-related problems and will work independently with minimal guidance. The Principal Welding Engineer may be responsible for leading functional teams or projects and is regarded as a specialist in Welding. As such, they must have in-depth expertise in Welding as well as broad knowledge of the Welding discipline within the Engineering function.

Responsibilities

• Guide the Welding Engineering discipline and Metallurgical consultative welding services to the operations group and PMT for onshore & offshore projects
• Responsible for various deliverables from the Welding Engineering group, listed (but not limited to) below:
