Principal Rotating Equipment Engineer

Wood is currently recruiting for a Principal Rotating Equipment Engineer (contract) for various Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Carbon Capture and Energy Transition projects. The role will be on a temporary (agency) basis.

Workscope: + Supporting the selection of Compressor, Pump and Driver Configurations + Preparing reports on machinery selection + Preparation of data sheets for compressors, pumps and other rotating equipment + Preparation of budget enquiries to support estimate + Provision of support and advice on rotating equipment matters + Extensive experience, primarily in a contracting environment, working with process compressors, gas and steam turbines and other rotating equipment on FEED and EPC projects for the carbon capture and storage, oil and gas, refinery and petrochemical industries + Experience of compressor and pump selection + Flexible attitude, with good written and verbal communication skills + Familiarity with the following codes : API (610-619 Pu...
