Principal Secuirty Engineer

DeepLight AI, a specialist AI and data consultancy, seeks a Principal Security Engineer embedded directly within a major banking client. The role is responsible for the overarching design, structural integrity, and hands‑on implementation of core security controls across the bank’s enterprise systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Design & Blueprinting: Lead the technical design of robust security patterns, reference architectures, and engineering baselines across cloud, hybrid, and on‑premises systems.
• Control Implementation: Oversee and execute the deployment of complex, enterprise‑grade security controls, focusing heavily on Identity and Access Management (IAM), data protection, and cryptographic infrastructures.
• Technical Authority: Serve as the final escalation point and engineering authority for complex security flaws, configuration issues, and infrastructure vulnerabilities within the delivery workstreams.
