Job Description
Job title: Print Assistant Machine Operator
Location: Telford TF1
Hours: Panama shift (12h rotating days/nights)
Pay: £12.85 per hour (premium rates for Saturday and Sunday shifts)
Overview
We're recruiting experienced machine operators for a print assistant role on a Panama shift in the Telford area. The successful candidates will have machine operating experience and preferably knowledge of flexigraphic print or experience in an FMCG/manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on production role focused on quality, uptime and safe operation.
Key responsibilities
Set up, operate and monitor machine lines to meet production targets.
Support Printer 1 with machine operating duties
Conduct routine quality checks (film gauge, appearance, seal integrity) and log production data.
Change reels/dies, perform planned cleaning and basic preventative maintenance.
Troubleshoot common issues (die lines, uneven gauge, film draw issues) and...
