1.0 INTRODUCTION
1.1 The purpose of this standard procedure is to outline the duties, responsibilities, authority, reporting relationships, and measures of performance for the position of Licensed Practical Nurse for PPEC (Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care)
2.0 BASIC FUNCTION
2.1 The basic function of the Licensed Practical Nurse for PPEC is to provide nursing and developmental stimulation for children/youth. Management of assessments, medications, and medical procedures required for children.
3.0 REQUIREMENTS:
3.1 Education:
Required: Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Kentucky.
3.2 Experience :
A minimum of one (1) year experience in pediatric nursing is preferred.
