Process Preparation Operator I

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Maintains a clean and orderly working area in production departments/rooms, meeting GMP standards.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ In production departments/rooms and under general supervision, responsible for cleaning machines, conveyors, walls, floors, light fixtures, vents, windows, etc., according to GMP and FDA standards.
+ Performs functions that require full knowledge of general aspects of the job.
+ Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
+ Empties garbage in production areas, as needed.
+ Completes housekeeping logs for area of responsibility.
+ Advises supervisor of needed supplies and shortages.
+ Advises supervisor of maintenance items needing attention.
+ Regularly communicates with line supervisors to resolve issues and ensures that all duties are being done well.
