Procurement Analyst, Purchasing and Contract Services

Position Summary

The department at the University at Buffalo (UB) seeks a Procurement Analyst to provide analytical and technical support to the Strategic Buying team, with a primary focus on scientific equipment, supplies, and related services. This role supports the effective execution and ongoing management of established category strategies by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of procurement data, supplier catalogs, and purchasing activity within the UB e-Procurement system and supporting SUNY systems.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively with Strategic Buyers and internal partners to support compliant, consistent and efficient procurement operations in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, Research Foundation (RF), SUNY, and University policies and regulations.
