Job Description
Responsibilities
- Analyses and evaluates marine and topside equipment for purchase.
- Negotiate with suppliers.
- Review purchase requisitions and purchase orders in accordance with project requirements and time schedules.
- Liaise with project team and external vendors to ensure equipment/parts and materials meet project specifications and budget.
- Manage the full spectrum of purchasing processes (sourcing, quotation, negotiation, shipping and delivery, etc.).
- Issue and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Expedite orders and monitor follow-up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide vendor recommendations and evaluate vendor performance.
- Coordinate all warehouse operation matters to ensure they are in good order.
- Resolve discrepancies found on delivered equipment and materials upon receipt.
