Procurement Officer (1 Year Contract - Renewable)

Responsible for order management for electronics and mechanical components required for manufacturing by a specific timeline determined by the project team. Manage the procurement process such as receiving the receipt of goods from suppliers, making sure suppliers are paid and returns are processed promptly.

• Responsible for the purchasing and monitoring of on-time delivery of materials, components and services to meet factory's requirements on part deliveries and program deliverables.
• Create and monitor purchase orders based on demand in the system and follow up with suppliers on committed delivery dates.
• Ensure on-time delivery by closely monitoring and expediting orders with persistency.
• Interact with suppliers daily through conference calls, on-site meetings to discuss price & lead time changes including additional information on any changes made.
