Job Description
The D&S Planner & Buyer role is accountable for forecasting activities associated with customers and products and the subsequent procurement activities and overall effectiveness of inventory with a key focus on maximising the return on investment and service to our customers. The purpose of the role is to build a forward visibility of future customer requirements, set supply policies and ensure purchase orders are placed effectively and to service level KPI’s.
The role engages closely with key internal and external stakeholders – Sales, Operations, Finance, Suppliers and Customers requiring strong analytical, influencing and commercial skills. We are looking for people with a customer focused way of looking at complex issues and solving them.
