Procurement Specialist (Ciudad Juárez)

Position Objective: The Procurement Specialist is responsible for supporting assigned Procurement projects from inception to completion, reducing the cost of procured direct materials and focusing on the supply market.
The position also evaluates and maintains supplier relationships and recommends new suppliers in a highly regulated environment.Essential ResponsibilitiesStay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to key direct materials categories for the organization which may include, but not be limited to: Film, Plastics, Resin.Conduct market search to identify potential suppliers and work with their manager to negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements.Develop a strong understanding of the current and potential supply base, maintaining a view of supplier capabilities, supplier component specifications, and supplier product portfolios.Support Category Managers in developing baseline cost for categories including total cost analysis, technica...
