Job Description
Responsibilities
- Contribute towards the production of daily news bulletins and specials, including stacking rundowns, writing stories, and integrating graphics and video/images to tell compelling, relevant stories.
- Depending on experience, direct production of news programmes by assigning stories to writers, coordinating graphic requests, planning sequences with the studio crew, and executing live programmes.
- Produce news packages using wire agency material, conceptualise and write scripts, integrate relevant soundbites, and edit packages.
- Break news on air quickly and accurately, reacting to developing stories and amending scripts and bulletin rundowns to reflect the new line‑up of stories.
- Conceptualise graphics, including Augmented Reality graphics, to present stories in a more dynamic and interactive manner.
