Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
To perform Safe set up and operation of fasten manufacturing processes, including (Forging Heat-treatment, Sorting, collation) Complying to company work procedures and instructions at all times.
· To rotate around the processes as production demands require, ensuring you keep up to date with new skill and process changes as required.
· Regularly monitor production to ensure it meets the required quality standards on the process you are working on.
· Conduct regular maintenance (TPM checks) and support breakdown maintenance as required.
· Work closely with the team leader and lead operator to ensure production meets agreed deadlines.
· Use overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) as the tool to help highlight potential issues and support improvement activities within the production areas
