Job Description
Step into a pivotal role as a Production Planner on a hybrid 12-month contract in Barrie. Drive production planning processes and ensure material availability across operations.
You will report to the Production Control Manager and are expected to have a minimum of two years’ experience in production planning. In this role, you'll firm and release work orders, conduct capacity monitoring, and support communication between departments. Responsibilities also extend to maintaining planning information in the ERP system and performing root cause analysis for production issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct material availability checks and order releases
• Review production accuracy and timeliness
• Work closely with Manufacturing and Sales teams
• Manage production transfers and overtime requests
• Adjust inventories based on production requirements
