Job Description

We have an exciting Production Technician (Mozzarella) opportunity to join our Taw Valley Creamery. This is especially exciting as the creamery is undergoing a major transformation, thanks to a £180 million investment. The role involves supporting the cheese department in achieving targets while maintaining strict hygiene standards and ensuring quality control throughout the production process. This is a shift-based role operating on a 4 on/4 off, 12-hour shift.


Key responsibilities:

  • Process management: Operate department processes following established protocols
    Understand process parameters and product characteristics
    Ensure consistency and quality in product recipies
    Demonstrate competency in all aspects of cheese production
  • Quality and compliance: Implement cleaning and hygiene protocols per standards
    Monitor and work toward department KPIs​
