The Department of Materials, Design and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Liverpool invites applications for an internationally distinguished Professor in Thin Film Engineering (Teaching & Research track). We are seeking a candidate with the leadership and international standing to develop a world-leading research agenda in thin film engineering and advanced thin film technologies. We welcome applications from candidates with expertise across chemical and physical vapour deposition, atomic layer deposition, micro- and nano-fabrication, functional coatings, semiconductor and electronic materials, surface engineering, thin film characterisation, or related emerging areas.
