Program Aide - EFNEP

Job Description

This position works in the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program known as EFNEP. The EFNEP Program Aide, with training and supervision, teaches (in-person and/or virtually) about nutrition, food resource management, food safety, and physical activity in culturally sensitive and appropriate ways for adults and/or youth, for low-income audiences in various community locations. 

This position is funded by a Federal grant and is therefore contingent upon the availability of funds.

Note to Candidates

This position is budgeted for 10 weeks from the date of hire.An extension to the length of employment could be considered depending on the number of hours worked during the previous 10-week period and overall job performance during that timeframe.
