Program Leader for Afterschool Activities

Lead enriching afterschool and summer programs for children aged 5-12 in Charlottetown, PE. We are looking for a proactive Program Leader to create an engaging environment while ensuring safety.
As a Program Leader, you will commit to working at least 21 hours weekly, guiding participants through daily activities and enhancing their experiences. Your role involves communicating effectively with children, colleagues, and families, fostering a fun and safe atmosphere for all.
Key Responsibilities:
• Be onsite Monday to Friday during program hours
• Facilitate and guide daily activities for participants
• Manage complex behaviours to ensure safety
• Assist with snack preparation and cleanup tasks
• Log interactions and incidents throughout the day
Requirements:
• 1 year of childcare experience required
• Current Emergency First Aid & CPR certification
• Criminal Reference and/or Vulnerable Sector Check
