IMAN Research (IMAN) is a boutique think tank based in Kuala Lumpur that focuses on human security, peacebuilding, and sustainable development. For over a decade, IMAN has explored the intersection of society, beliefs, and perception, translating on-the-ground realities into actionable intelligence for policymakers, civil society, and international bodies.
Rooted in community resilience, IMAN’s work addresses complex socio‑political issues—including ethnic and religious dynamics, preventing and countering violent extremism (P/CVE), social policy, and psychosocial interventions for communities in conflict. We pride ourselves on going beyond numbers to understand lived realities through deep‑dive qualitative research and community‑driven initiatives.
