The Program Specialist, Perioperative Services, provides operational and financial analysis and managerial accounting services to assist the Perioperative Division in the effective performance of their responsibilities; assigns billing codes and descriptions to new inventory items; updates and maintains perioperative billing/inventory in designated software programs; collaborates with Patient Billing Office (PBO), Health Information Management (HIM), and Decision Support Services (DSS); researches billing issues; performs audits; creates reports; provides financial analyses to assist department billing and posting performance; identifies opportunities to increase revenue; serves as informatics systems administrator for the software programs uti...
