• Responsible for all purchased parts that apply to a customer project regarding costs, quality and deadlines.
• Support special project sourcing strategies that are a part of new high-dollar, critical components with long-term, preferred suppliers.
• Provides cost and quality wise favorable quotations for required materials out of the NAFTA market.
• Perform cost and value analysis in cooperation with other departments, centers and product teams.
• Investigation of potentials for substitution of material and alternate manufacturing processes.
