Job Description
The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing traffic management activities required for road and bridge maintenance works. The role ensures all traffic diversions, Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) plans and road closure activities are safely executed in compliance with authority regulations. The position also involves obtaining necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities and ensuring smooth coordination between site teams and government agencies.
Traffic Management & Diversion PlanningPrepare, review and implement Traffic Diversion Plans (TDPs) and Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) schemes for routine and emergency maintenance works.
Coordinate lane closures, detours and site access arrangements to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
Conduct site assessments to determine the appropriate traffic control measures and signage required.
