Project Engineer / APM - Heavy Civil - Chicago area
A well established, employee owned heavy civil contractor is seeking a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager to support transportation infrastructure projects throughout the Chicago region. The company specializes in bridge construction, rail infrastructure, marine projects, deep foundation work, sheeting and pile driving.
Responsibilities
- Manage DOT and rail construction activities - Assist in managing construction activities for DOT, rail and structural projects.
- Review plans and technical documents - Prepare and review plans, calculations, specifications and estimates.
- Coordinate with project teams - Work closely with project managers, field teams, clients and design partners.
- Support schedules and budgets - Assist with schedules, budgets, procurement and resource planning.
