Project Engineer – Structural

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Site Engineer Civil & Structural to join our team in Wellington, supporting the delivery of key works on a thermal drying plant project.

This is a hands‑on, site‑based role where you will play a critical part in delivering civil and structural scopes including foundations, concrete structures, underground services, drainage, pavements, and structural steel installations. You will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, ensuring quality and compliance, and driving safe, efficient delivery aligned with Downers Zero Harm principles.

What we are looking for

• Degree or diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 3 years experience in civil/structural site engineering
• Proven experience across Earthworks and excavation, Concrete works, reinforcement & formwork, and Structural steel installation
• Ability to interpret civil, structural, and GA drawings
