Project financial accountant (renewable energy)

Our client is a global (EPC) company specializing in hydropower and renewable energy ventures worldwide. They boast a portfolio of over 3 GW in installed solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity. Their current undertaking is a 240 MW solar PV project scheduled to commence in May, situated in the Free State region. This is a two-year fixed term contract.

KPA’s: Review the relevant settlement materials of the project to ensure that the settlement materials meet the national fiscal and taxation requirements of South Africa. Collect financial information related to the project and register the ledger. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of various financial data. Prepare daily bank accounts to ensure the safety of project funds. Check the financial data with the firm, calculate the project tax burden, and urge the firm to declare all taxes on time.
