Job Description
Introduction
Our client, a large international mining house based in the Northern Cape, is currently embarking on a large-scale flagship project. They have the perfect opportunity for a Lead Electrical Engineer with a GCC Mines & Works and extensive experience on mineral processing plants.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of electrical projects related to the Process Plant.
- Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental standards are adhered to.
- Ensure goals and objectives are met in a timeous manner.
- Lead the electrical activities at the construction site.
- Understand the overall legal and electrical requirements for timing of construction activities in order to meet project requirements.
- Must have knowledge of the Electrical Quality Assurance and Inspection systems.
- Continuous monitoring of electrical activities at the construction site.
