Project Manager, Commercial Construction (18-Month Contract)

Position Overview
This role is located at our Yonge Eglinton office and reports to the Senior Project Manager, Commercial Construction. It is responsible for the oversight and supervision of construction projects for RioCan’s Commercial Construction group and supports the advancement of projects through municipal approvals.ResponsibilitiesLiaise with internal and external stakeholders; Asset Management, Property Management, Leasing, Procurement, Contractors, Consultants, Designers, Architects, Municipalities and Tenants on various projects.Manage and/or support projects to obtain zoning amendments, site‑plan approval and variances as required.Maintain knowledge of municipal processes leading to planning related approvals and permissions.Liaise with and direct tenants and partners regarding municipal processes leading to approvals and permissions.Manage and support direct reports, including Assistant Project Managers and Coordinators.Prepare accurate and timely reports, including qua...
