Protestant Worship Leader

Job Description :

• Protestant Worship Leader Location: Altus Air Force Base (AFB) Chapel, Altus, OK Key Responsibilities Lead weekly Protestant worship service (Sundays 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM).


• Provide music for special services (funerals, memorials, Good Friday, Christmas Eve).
• Recruit, train, and rehearse a Worship Team of volunteer musicians/singers.
• Plan music with the Chaplain; submit lyrics 72 hours prior to services.
• Maintain a balanced repertoire (hymns, praise songs, contemporary).
• Operate audio/visual systems and Proclaim presentation software.
• Qualifications At least 3 years’ recent experience as a Protestant Worship Leader or Musician.
• Ability to read music and play a lead instrument (guitar, piano, or keyboard) Skilled in vocal leadership and harmony.
• Familiar with multi-cultural, multi-denominational Protestant worship styles.
