Consultant Psychiatrist – Rehabilitation Centre (Auckland)

• Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, with flexibility available for the right candidate.
• Point Chevalier location, close to public transport links.

About the Role

This role will provide specialist psychiatric input as a member of a well-established and stable multi-disciplinary team. This will include involvement in urgent and planned assessments, planning and delivering care and treatment to whaiora (patients) in the context of their whānau.

Key Responsibilities

• Bio-psycho-social assessments with a psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery focus.
• Psychiatric consultation to multidisciplinary team members.
• Psychiatric expertise in all aspects of the care throughout the day-to-day operations of the service, e.g. clinical reviews, daily planning, handovers.
