Join our new program supporting young people across the Darling Downs. You’ll be part of a service that works closely with local Hospital and Health Services to deliver an integrated model of care, combining clinical insight with psychosocial support.
As a Psychosocial Peer Worker, you’ll draw on your own lived or living experience of mental health challenges and recovery to provide compassionate, trauma-informed support. Your unique insights will help foster trust, empower young people, and promote resilience. Working alongside our Psychosocial Youth Workers and Hospital and Health Service teams, you’ll play a vital role in integrated care in the Darling Downs region.
A personal lived experience of mental health challenges and recovery or caring for a family member with mental health challenges, is an essential requirement for this role.
