Job Description
Are you an experienced Pumpman looking for your next adventure on a VLCC tanker? OSM Thome is seeking a skilled Pumpman to join our team for assignments worldwide. This opportunity promises a challenging and rewarding experience on the open seas.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- Operate and maintain cargo pumps and associated equipment efficiently.
- Ensure safe loading, discharge, and transfer of cargo.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the cargo system.
- Assist in coordination with Chief Officer and crew during operations.
- **Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a Pumpman on a VLCC or similar vessel required.
- Good understanding of cargo operations and safety procedures.
- STCW certification and valid seaman’s book.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
