Job Description
Responsibilities
- Source and purchase raw materials, scrap alloys, chemicals, sand, binders, consumables, and machine spares required for foundry operations.
- Communicate with local and international suppliers for quotations, negotiations, and order confirmations.
- Prepare and process purchase orders ensuring accuracy in specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with stores to track stock levels and initiate timely replenishment.
- Follow up on shipments, delivery schedules, and transport arrangements for factory materials.
- Ensure purchased items meet technical specifications and quality standards required for foundry operations.
- Maintain vendor records, price lists, contracts, and purchase documentation.
