Purchaser

Responsibilities: Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with suppliers and vendors Evaluate and manage vendor contracts while ensuring effective and consistent communication Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to secure cost-effective, long-term procurement agreements Verify delivered goods against purchase orders and liaise with vendors to resolve any discrepancies Assist in the preparation and compilation of tender and project documentation Requirements: Diploma / Bachelor Degree in related disciplines like business administration, supply chain management, engineering and economics. At least 2 years of experience in the electrical industry with purchasing/procurement experience Able to perform effectively under tight deadlines and fast-paced environments Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently Good communication and negotiation abilities Knowledge and experience in overseas shipping and general/electrical hardware procurement
