About the job Purchasing Assistant (West)
- Acquisition of raw materials for tasks/projects on board or in workshop activities.
- Organization of inspection / renewal of certification for legal equipment like lifting gears, lifting machinery.
- Accountable for identifying and choosing suppliers that offer the optimal costs, quality, and services.
- Tasked with negotiating, scheduling deliveries, and ensuring timely execution.
- Cultivate and sustain suppliers and alternative sources.
- Aid in administrative tasks (e.g., document verification and management, etc.)
- Management of Purchase Order Procedures in compliance with ISO 90001.
- Manage the filing system, oversee document control, and keep track of purchase records.
- To suggest enhancements in the overall purchasing strategy that will benefit the company's interests.
