Job Description
**Job Title:** Purchasing Specialist
**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 6:00 am – 3:30 pm
**Location:** Oakdale, CA
**Pay Rate:** $30/hour
**Position Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Specialist to manage and optimize our storeroom inventory, purchasing processes, and supplier relationships. The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring product availability, maintaining accurate records, and supporting compliance with company policies and safety standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Oversee and direct storeroom inventory to ensure accuracy and efficient operation.
+ Review and validate open requisitions and order requests.
+ Maintain clear and ongoing communication with internal purchasers and external vendors. Create purchase orders as needed.
+ Generate and analyze daily and monthly reports to maintain up-to-date inventory and purchasing records.
