Job Summary
The Purchasing Trainee will support the purchasing department in daily activities, learning the fundamentals of procurement processes, supplier management, and cost optimization within a global automotive supplier environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and issuance of purchase orders for various goods and services.
- Support the purchasing team in supplier communication, including requests for quotations (RFQs) and follow-ups.
- Learn to analyze supplier proposals and contribute to supplier selection processes.
- Participate in negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers under supervision.
- Help maintain accurate purchasing records and update supplier databases.
