About the Role
As a History Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons that develop students’ understanding of key historical events, themes, and interpretations. You will encourage critical thinking, analysis of evidence, and a deeper appreciation of how the past shapes the present.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging History lessons in line with the national curriculum

Teach a range of topics such as medieval history, modern world history, and British history

Support GCSE and A-Level History (where applicable)

Develop students’ essay writing, source analysis, and evaluation skills

Assess, track, and report on student progress

Contribute to curriculum development within the Humanities department

Lead or support enrichment activities such as history clubs, trips, or museum visits
