Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, servicing, and repairs on heavy plant equipment and commercial vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains, hydraulic systems, and electrical faults.
- Maintain and repair equipment including:
- JCB TLBs
- Sany Mobile Cranes (mechanical components only lifting gear maintained by specialist contractors)
- Toyota Trucks (3-ton to 10-ton)
- CAT Equipment including skid steers and rollers
- Conduct fault-finding using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential mechanical issues before failures occur.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
