We are looking for a Quality Engineer to embed quality throughout our software development life cycle at Aberdeen Adviser.
About The Role
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. Reporting to the Quality Engineering Chapter Lead, you will work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to champion a quality-first mindset, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of reliability, usability, and performance.
You will work across multiple cross‑functional squads (typically two), balancing priorities and enabling consistent quality practices across teams. This role blends quality assurance and quality coaching, where you will not only test software but also mentor developers on best practices, define test strategies, and advocate for testing from the customer’s perspective.
