Quality Operations Manager EMS (Zapopan, Jalisco)

Role Overview

Support the resiliency approach for electronics manufacturing via our EMS partner, ensuring product quality across multiple geographic locations.

Core Responsibilities

• On‑Floor Process Control – Implement and audit in‑process quality controls, ensuring all production lines adhere to the Control Plan, Work Instructions, and Technical Specifications.
• Real‑time Defect Mitigation – Define and implement the process for reacting to and escalating quality excursions or production halts; apply exemption processes as defined.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) – Drive and approve shop‑floor problem‑solving using 8D, Fishbone, and 5‑Why methodologies, ensuring corrective actions are physically implemented and effective.
• Statistical Process Control (SPC) – Monitor live production data and control charts, identify trends or shifts in process capability (Cpk), and intervene before products fall out of specification.
