Quality Technician

Hynds is looking for a hands‑on QA Technician to join our Pokeno manufacturing site. You'll play a key role in ensuring the precast concrete and concrete pipe products we produce meet the highest quality standards — protecting our S‑Mark certification, our reputation, and the infrastructure our communities rely on.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in civil engineering or manufacturing lab testing who enjoys detail-focused, practical work and being part of a strong production team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out routine product testing, load testing, and water‑tightness (hydrostatic) testing on concrete pipes, in line with national and international standards
• Performing pre‑pour and post‑pour QA checks on precast concrete — mould dimensions, reinforcement, product finish and marking
• Conducting dimensional checks on pipes and reinforcement cages, and repairing concrete products as needed
