The candidate will be joining the Quantum System Architecture & Software team in the Intel Quantum Computing program.

**Chief duties of this position include:**

+ Leads the creation, implementation, and optimization of software codes specifically for Intel quantum hardware constraints.
+ Lead the research and development of quantum error correction protocols for fully fault tolerant quantum computing systems.
+ Explore the performance of technology alternatives, collaborating with algorithm and application researchers, software engineers and hardware engineers to explore hardware/software trade-offs in the implementation of quantum error correcting codes.
+ Collaborate closely with both quantum computing hardware and software teams
