Quoting Technician

Selectek is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quoting Technician to join their clients’ fast-paced estimating department. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to project success by preparing accurate and timely quotations based on customer blueprints, samples, and specifications. The role spans the full quoting process—from customer and vendor communication to preparing bills of material and approving sample parts.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed quotes including labor steps and material requirements

Use Excel Pivot Tables and Lookup Tables to generate pricing and labor estimates

Communicate directly with customers to gather specifications and clarify requirements

Coordinate with vendors to obtain raw material pricing and lead times

Create and maintain Bill of Materials and Routing Information for manufacturing processes
