Job Overview

EEAST is looking for an Information Officer/Secretary to support the Race Equality and cultural heritage (ReaCh) network (Formerly BME).

This is a voluntary role which will be undertaken alongside your current role.

Main Duties

  • Ensuring up-to-date information is kept for the network and making as much information accessible through all available media.
  • Co‑ordinate information being held on the internet and intranet, linking to IT colleagues as necessary.
  • Maintain an up‑to‑date record of network members so information can be effectively distributed.
  • Work with the Chairperson to plan meetings for the year, agree agendas, send invites, take minutes, keep records and chase pending actions.
