**Job Description :**

**GENERAL OVERVIEW:**

Treats patients, mentors, supervises work performed by therapy staff and contributes to the management of daily operations in Radiation Oncology.

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Coordinates daily staffing coverage, rotations and time usage in the treatment area. (10%)
+ Reviews and maintains electronic medical records for treatment delivery, charge entry and quality assurance. (20%)
+ Troubleshoots problems related to treatment equipment, patient schedules, and staffing. (15%)
+ Performs patient simulations, delivers a prescribed radiation treatment, and assesses/educates patients according to specific department guidelines. (40%)
+ Performs other duties as assigned or required which may include but not limited to mentoring employees/students and participating in hospital initiatives. (15%)
