GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Accountable for performing professional diagnostic imaging procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment, while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and care. Adheres to departmental protocols, radiation safety standards, and regulatory requirements to deliver high‑quality imaging services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform professional diagnostic imaging procedures safely and accurately to support physicians in patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Ensure proper patient identification, care, comfort, and safety during all imaging procedures, while minimizing radiation exposure in accordance with ALARA principles.
• Adhere to departmental protocols, hospital policies, regulatory requirements, infection prevention, and radiation safety standards.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or incidents promptly to the Head of Diagnostic Imaging Services for corrective action.
