Job Description
What’s The Role All About?
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Explains procedures to patients
- Ensures safety of patients during diagnostic imaging procedures
- Minimizes radiation exposure of patients by practicing protection techniques using beam restrictive devices and patient shielding
- Prepares standard equipment and facilities
- Administers all diagnostic Imaging procedures (CT-Scan, X-Ray, Mammogram, Ultrasound) to patients
- Ensures accuracy of the captured concerned area of patients
- Adheres to regulatory requirements mandated by FDA
- Documents data of patients through charting
- Monitors inventory and ensures availability of related medical supplies
- Submits census report every month
