Description
 :Provides health care services using medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Performs care requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgment and skill. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
Accepts patients and assesses their condition to determine proper handling and special requirements.
Explain and prepare the patient for all cardiac catheterization procedures.
Interviews patients and reviews available clinical data from charts to alert nurses and/or physicians to possible contradictions for procedure.
Responsible for performing all related exams within the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
