Summary
• A student Radiologic Technologist works with a registered Radiologic Technologist to complete diagnostic imaging exams.
• The student prepares patients for exams, stocks, and prepares exam rooms, and assists in the performance of radiologic exams.
Required Minimum Training and Education:
• Current 2nd year student in a formal Diagnostic Imaging Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.
• Must have the ability to learn and use new processes, tools, and equipment as required.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited diagnostic imaging program, 2nd year student.
• South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards - Limited Radiologic License
• Current BLS certification.
